BidReady is a trading name of Salus Studios Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17268621). In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Salus Studios Ltd. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
Account details. When you sign up we collect your email address and a password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form by our authentication provider).
Business profile. If you choose to fill in your settings, we store the business details you enter — such as your trading name, trade, business address, contact phone and email, VAT number, insurance cover, working hours, guarantee terms and trade-body memberships — so they can appear on your quotes.
Quote content. When you create a quote we process the job details you enter, which may include information about your own customers (for example a client name, address or job description). You enter this information; you are responsible for it. See “How your quote is generated” below.
Payment information. When you buy credits, your payment is processed by PayPal. We do not see or store your full card number — we receive only confirmation of payment and a transaction reference.
Usage information. We collect limited, privacy-friendly analytics about how the site is used (such as pages viewed and aggregate events). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We use your information to create and run your account, generate and store your quotes, process payments and credits, send you service and transactional emails (such as account verification and purchase confirmations), provide support, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
To produce a quote, the job details you enter are sent to our text-generation provider, Anthropic, which returns the draft quote text. Anthropic processes this input only to provide the service to us and does not use it to train its models under our business arrangement. Please avoid entering more personal information about your customers than a quote needs.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that operate BidReady on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:
• Supabase — database, authentication and backend hosting.
• Anthropic — generating draft quote text.
• PayPal — payment processing.
• Resend — sending transactional email.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
• Plausible — privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics (Plausible and Cloudflare) are cookieless and do not build advertising profiles of you. We use only the cookies/local storage strictly necessary to keep you signed in and run the service.
We keep your account and quote data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and security obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see “Your rights”).
We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
We process your information to perform our contract with you (running your account and producing your quotes), to meet our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting), and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service. Where we rely on consent — for example for certain optional communications — you can withdraw it at any time.
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You will not be charged or treated differently for exercising your rights.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
BidReady is a business tool intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We are based in the United Kingdom. Some of our service providers may process your information outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Union. Where information is transferred outside the UK we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision — to keep it protected.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be notified by email or in the app where appropriate.
